The Core Mission

Why We Are Mobilizing Tech For Cagayan de Oro

In the modern economy, digital literacy is not a luxury—it is fundamental survival. We combine practical enterprise hardware with caring educational mentorship.

1. Hardware Rescue & Renewal

Companies retire thousands of reliable laptops every quarter. We collect, securely sanitize (NIST 800-88 compliant), upgrade with SSDs, and deploy them straight to eager young learners.

  • Zero electronic waste in landfills
  • Full hardware upgrade & warranty check

2. Direct Financial Solidarity

Hardware alone is not enough. Financial donations fund high-speed fiber internet, electricity stability, solar backup power, software licenses, and classroom desks for the children.

  • Direct ACH & Wire to CCF institution
  • Transparent expense reporting

3. Real Career Readiness

We don’t just hand over computers; we introduce typing, basic programming, English proficiency, and digital arts so graduates can secure vocational or university scholarships.

  • Ages 7–17 comprehensive curriculum
  • Mentorship led by industry engineers

I Gave Up a Lavish Birthday to Throw an Unforgettable Party for Orphaned Children

Instead of an expensive dinner or luxury celebration here in the United States, I sponsored a full day of joy for the kids of Calabrian Children’s Foundation — clowns, a bubble show, a hearty feast, games, and school supplies for every single child.

A heartfelt holy mass and blessing surrounded by the children, resident staff, CCF sisters, and religious brothers offering prayers of thanksgiving.

“In the tech startup world, birthdays often mean rooftop dinners, bottle service, or luxury watches. But as a founder with 20+ years in this industry, nothing I could buy myself compares to the look on an orphaned child’s face when they realize today is a day purely created to celebrate them.”

Trading Champagne for Smiles in Cagayan de Oro

When another birthday approached, I knew I didn’t want the standard routine. I live and work in the US, where comfort and abundance are taken for granted. Meanwhile, in Cagayan de Oro City, the boys and girls cared for by the Calabrian Children’s Foundation—many orphaned, abandoned, or rescued from severe hardship—rarely get a party thrown just for the sake of innocent, unconditional joy.

So, I made the decision: every dollar that would have gone toward an extravagant personal celebration was redirected to create an unforgettable day for the children.

Clowns & Joyful Games

Two high-energy clowns hosted interactive stage games, music, dance battles, and comedic acts that filled the hall with non-stop laughter.

Interactive Bubble Show

A spectacular bubble master created smoke bubbles, floating giants, and enclosed each child inside a shimmering full-body bubble dome.

Festive Lunch, Snacks & Minecraft Cake

A full celebratory feast featuring beloved dishes, fresh treats, afternoon snacks, and a custom chocolate Minecraft cake made for sharing.

School Supply Giveaways for Every Child

Every boy and girl received comprehensive stationery kits, notebooks, writing materials, and educational supplies for the upcoming school terms.

From One Day of Joy to a Lifetime of Opportunity

Giving children a magical afternoon of clowns, bubble shows, and chocolate cake heals the spirit. But the real mission is making sure that tomorrow, and the years after, they have the tools to break the cycle of poverty permanently.

That’s why this celebration is directly linked to our ongoing campaigns: 50 high-performance computer workstations for their digital lab, and the Starlink Mini unlimited package so these children have unrestricted, reliable access to programming tutorials, AI tools, and global educational resources.

Keep the Joy Going Year-Round

Turn This Birthday Joy into Long-Term Impact

Whether you have an unused laptop sitting in an IT closet or want to chip into the Starlink connection fund, 100% of your pledge goes directly to the kids at Calabrian Children’s Foundation.

Founder’s Commitment

Why Sean Raynon Backs the Calabrian Children’s Foundation

The Calabrian Children’s Foundation in Cagayan de Oro City has provided sanctuary to neglected, street-dwelling, and orphaned boys for years. While the religious community offers unmatched love and spiritual care, resources for high-speed internet and modern hardware have historically been scarce.

Through Sean Raynon, our commitment is simple: we bridge the tech gap. We mobilize working laptops, monitors, RAM, and educational funding directly to the foundation. Every piece of equipment is personally audited for functionality, pre-loaded with curated learning suites, and handed directly to the foundation’s caregivers.

Zero administrative cuts. Complete transparency. Direct community impact.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about donating gear, logistics, and data privacy.

We welcome working laptops, desktops, mini PCs, and monitors. Ideally they can power on and are manufactured within the last 8-10 years (Intel Core i3/i5/i7, AMD Ryzen, Apple silicon, or Chromebooks). If a laptop needs a new battery or RAM upgrade, our volunteer tech team can often provide minor repairs as long as the motherboard and screen are intact.
